Kierre L. Kaiser

Director

Ms. Kaiser, a native of East Orange, New Jersey, began her career working with youth and families at the
statewide non-profit, Youth Consultation Service (YCS) in Newark, New Jersey. During her ten year
tenure with the agency, she worked in several capacities leading multi-disciplinary teams in helping
adolescents develop the academic, behavioral, emotional, and social skills necessary to achieve in their
local community schools.
Upon leaving YCS, Ms. Kaiser joined the City of Newark’s Workforce Development team as Manager of
the Youth One-Stop Career Center. There she was responsible for contracting with non-profit Newark-
based organizations offering educational and vocational skill-building opportunities for youth within the
City of Newark’s Public School System.
Kierre found her passion for community work when she joined Newark Emergency Services for Families,
Inc. and spearheaded the opening of their Central and West Ward Family Success Center. Building on
founding principles of shared leadership, strength-based interactions, and connecting individuals to
tangible resources, the Center provided a communal safe space and housed several programs and
services that met the expressed needs of adults and youth community members.
After relocating back to her native East Orange, Kierre served as Director of the East Orange Family
Success Center (EOFSC) at Independence: A Family of Services. As the Director, she was responsible for
the day-to-day operations and programming at the Center. The EOFSC team, volunteers, and
community-based partners facilitated programs and services aimed at providing much needed resources
and improving the quality of life of the individuals and families served at the Center.
Currently, Ms. Kaiser works as a Hospital Community Liaison in the Business Development Department
at CareWell Health Medical Center. Her experience as a passionate and influential leader in the non-
profit sector has prepared her to continue to effectuate change in the lives of others.
